Buried Basement Windows (Jan 2019)

The old Brunswick Hotel originally had a basement level with doors and windows, accessed via a sunken sidewalk. Eventually these basement doors and windows were bricked up and the sunken sidewalk filled in with dirt, leaving just the top of the window frames still visible.

The window frames pictured here were on the side of the hotel, facing Grant Street.
