McPherson vs Albert's Gravediggers

A Gravedigger gets a wide open shot in the lane on this fast break.

Albert's Gravediggers were a local AAU basketball team that consistently ranked as one of the top amateur teams in Kansas. They were sponsored by Al Mogenson, who owned Al's Band Shop here in Lindsborg and also had a gravedigging service. The team was managed by Paul Mogenson, Al's son and sports editor for the Lindsborg News-Record.
